Some may remember my articles on this webcam installed in the middle of a pond, Botswana, which allowed direct observation of the lives of animals around the pond. The initiative came back to National Geographic magazine. Given the success of the transaction, National Geographic has developed the concept in other environments, including polar bears in the far north.
